Mikveh (picture above) Lower
Merion Synagogue has a Shabbat and Yom Tov Mikveh, to be currently
used by women only, as well as the Keilim Mikveh.
The
Mikveh is for the exclusive use of members of the Lower Merion
Synagogue and their guests. For those who are not members of
the shul, but would like to use our facilities, we have arranged a
special reasonable membership rate. Please call the shul
office 610-664-5626 to join. We invite you to become a part of
this exciting venture. Anyone who is not either a shul member
or an associate/Mikveh/privileges member is free to continue to use
the two other Mikva'ot that are currently utilized in the adjoining
neighborhoods. The other Mikva'ot in the community will be
used during the other days of the week.
To arrange to use the
LMS Mikveh all women should call Lower Merion Synagogue and select
the Mikveh. It will give you the name of the Mikveh
attendant for that week, you should then call the attendant by
Wednesday to arrange an appointment for that Friday evening.
Please remember that the Mikveh attendants are volunteers and be
considerate of their schedules. Towels will be provided at the
Mikveh; it is not necessary to bring any with you.
The
halachot of the Mikva'ot are posted on the walls of the respective
Mikva'ot.
Mikveh Kehlim The LMS Mikveh
Kelim is opened during shul business hours 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Friday
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM) The Gabba'im will also have a key,
for those members who wish to use it during, before, or after
davening. Instructions on how to use the Mikveh, prepared by Rabbi
Levene, are posted on the wall by the Mikveh.
Please remember
when using the Keilim Mikveh that towels to dry your items are not
provided.
